Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.
Many Canadians celebrate Mother’s Day by showing their appreciation for mothers or mother figures. The Mother’s Day date in Canada is on the second Sunday of May each year.












International Women's Day (IWD) is annually celebrated on 8th of March all around the world. This day is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change, celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women, who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities and is celebrated to empower women and remind the fact that they have the same rights as men. However, even now there are millions and millions of women suffering from violence, including rape and domestic violence.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international memorial day on 27 January that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust.The day remembers the killing of 6 million Jews and 11 million others by the Nazi regime and its collaborators.
