Now that we have finalized all four sessions of our Computer Basic Classes program, we are proud to say that our participants have gained essential computer skills for modern jobs. A total of 15 participants attended all four sessions and learned online. Check out the details of our program here here.

The Reopening Project

"The Waterloo Region Women Owned Small-Business Showcase"

On the 6th and 7th of August, The Canadian Helpers Society organized and launched this project with the participants. During this online event, various online activities were held. including a number of women who have small businesses explained their business. Before posting the event videos, we would like to thank the Canadian Heritage for supporting this program so that we could organize it efficiently.

"Le salon des petites entreprises appartenant à des femmes de la région de Waterloo"

Les 6 et 7 aoĂ»t, The Canadian Helpers Society a organisĂ© et lancĂ© ce projet avec les participants. Au cours de cet Ă©vĂ©nement en ligne, diverses activitĂ©s en ligne ont eu lieu. notamment un certain nombre de femmes qui ont de petites entreprises ont expliquĂ© leur activitĂ©. Avant de publier les vidĂ©os de l'Ă©vĂ©nement, nous tenons Ă  remercier le Patrimoine canadien pour son soutien Ă  ce programme afin que nous puissions l'organiser efficacement.

In order to better celebrate Canada Day, which was held on July 1st, 2022, colleagues dedicated a few days to this important day.

Before the programs started, we sent the prepared boxes of sweets to the participants' and neighbors' homes.

Most of the participants were in the program at the announced time wearing their local clothes along with their family members, children, or pets.

At the beginning of the program, the official anthem of Canada was played. After the participants introduced themselves, one of the immigrants, who was Indian, played the national anthem of his country and explained its meaning.
